In May 2006 First NBC Bank received its charter to begin operations from the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions. Through overwhelming support from our local community our initial capitalization is in excess of $60 Million dollars, making our bank the most well capitalized start-up financial institution ever to commence operations under a Louisiana charter.
